The Sani Defenx FD technology uses a patented ozone system to address bacteria concerns on and in firefighter helmets, boots, gloves and turnout gear. The Sani Defenx FD system can reduce up to 95% of harmful bacteria in one cycle.*

Independent testing has found that Sani Defenx FD system disinfects turnout gear without compromising the integrity of the firefighter gear.

How does it works?

Sani Defenx FD’s patented technology uses a proprietary ozone process. Ozone is a natural gas with strong oxidizing properties which kills germs 3,200 times quicker than chlorine bleach. Unlike traditional cleaning methods, our process opens equipment fibers to penetrate the bacteria, thus reducing the pathogens and the potential for infection to firefighters.
